Jane R. Pergola, 78, formerly of Reading, died April 17 at 1:18 p.m. in Spruce Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, West Reading, where she had been a resident since January.
Her husband, Joseph A. Pergola, died Nov. 30, 1982.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late George and Esther (Hill) Smith.
Pergola had been employed for many years as a secretary by Daubert Electric, Reading, retiring in 1979.
She was a 1944 graduate of Reading High School.
There are no immediate survivors.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Aulenbach's Cemetery, Mount Penn. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
