Jane Fains

Jane Hancock Fains, 65, of Lackawanna Street, Reading, PA passed away Sunday April 29th at 6:50 AM in her residence. Her husband, Mack Fains, passed away in 2003. Born in Reading, She was the daughter of the late Preston and Helen (Gutrick) Hancock. Mrs. Fains was a graduate of Reading High School and after she furthered her education at Reading Area Community College. She had been employed and retired in 2011 at Prospectus/Berco in Reading. Surviving is a Son; Keith Hancock; a Brother; Preston Hancock - Reading; and three sisters; Diane Brown - Reading; Linda Allen - Reading, and Ruth Allen - Chester, Delaware County. Mrs. Jane Fains was predeceased by three brothers; Robert, Chester and Richard Hancock and by three sisters; Drucilla 'Tut' Hancock, Christine Snowden, and Mary Billups. Keith and the family would specially like to thank the living angels that made my mothers passing, (the way that she wanted it to be), at home and at peace. Those angels were, Mrs. Donnieve Edmond, Dianne Brown, Michelle Mathews, the Reverend, Janice Grant, and Calvin Brown, and all of her other friends that came to see her, thought about her and prayed for her in her time of need. The last resting place that my mother will rest will be at the Birdsboro Cemetery in Birdsboro PA.
