James C. Moser, 79, of Reading, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 6:30 a.m. at Manor Care, Laureldale, where he had been a patient since April 4, 2008. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Joseph Moser and Clara (Hoyer) Moser, and widower of the late Gloria (Bender) Moser. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Korean War, and last worked as a guard for Baldwin Hardware for the 10 years, retiring in 1962.
He is survived by his sons: George A., James C. Jr., Joey L., and Thomas J. of Reading and Robert C. Moser of Pittsburgh. There are also four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is pre deceased by his sisters: Marilyn and Gloria J. Moser.
