James Gregro

James H.W. Gregro, 75, of Sinking Spring passed away August 1, 2008 at 7:34 pm in his residence of natural causes. He was the husband of the late Jeanne L. (Heck) who passed away May 14, 1997. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Raymond and Mildred(Freeze) Gregro. Mr. Gregro was employed by Teamsters Local 429 for King Cup Schoeners in Reading, and inspector for Lucent Technology and by Local 3733 United Steel Workers as a janitor. He served in the Navy during the Korea. Mr. Gregro loved flowers, planting flowers, taking care of his garden, watching and feeding birds and loved the Philadelphia Eagles.

Mr. Gregro is survived by sons, Jay A. husband of Patti L. Gregro with whom he last resided, James H. husband of Wendy S. Gregro of Robesonia, Jeffrey G. husband of Susan Gregro of Spring Township, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister Arlene(Gregro) Stehman a resident at ManorCare-Muhlenberg Township.

Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
