Ivo M. (Blanford) Kulaga, 90, formerly of Bern Township, where she resided with her son, Richard, and a resident at Berks Heim since March 2004, passed away Dec. 22, 2006, at 12:55 p.m. in Berks Heim. Born in Louisville, Ky., on Dec. 26, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Henry J. Blanford and Mary Ida (McMillan) Blanford.
She worked at BachmanA�a�a��s, LudenA�a�a��s and Berkshire Knitting Mills. She last worked in sales for the Hope Rescue Mission, Reading.
She was a member of St. Margaret Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
She was an avid bingo player.
Surviving are three sons: John J. Kulaga Jr., Reading; and James J. Kulaga and Richard W. Kulaga, both of Bern Township; and a daughter, Theresa A. (Kulaga) Nicholson, Bern Township.
Other survivors include a sister, Florence (Blanford) Urkuskie, Reading.
There are also 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two brothers, four sisters and a grandson, Glenn A. Kulaga.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 N. 9th St., Reading, with John M. Gibbons officiating. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Viewing will be held Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10 a.m.
