Ida D. Sanders, 90, of Avenue B, Glenside, died June 29 at 6:18 A.M. in the Berks Heim Annex, where she had been for three weeks.
Her husband, Clarence W. Sanders, died in 1981.
Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late George P. and Cecclia M. (Jones) Davies.
Sanders had been employed as a lunchroom aide by Green Thumb of Reading and as a sewing machine operator by various manufacturers.
She was a member of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, Reading.
Sanders in Survived by a son, Preston R. Harrisburg.
Other survivors include a brother, Walter Davies, Wyomissing, and three sisters; Marquerite (Davies) Simpkins, Bronx, N.Y., Jane (Davies) Shultz, Burford, Reading; and Frances (Davies) Jameson, Oxford, Chester County.
She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Bethel AME Church. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery. Whelan-Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
