Howard Wells

Howard F. Wells, 91, of Myerstown, passed away on March 30, 2020 in Stoneridge Village.  Born in Plattsburgh, New York, he was the son of the late William H. and Eva M. (Shene) Wells.  Howard was the husband of Virginia (Vanderwiere) Wells, they shared 41 years of marriage.  Howard served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.  He later earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Eastern Nazarene College.  Howard worked as a Chemist for 3M for 27 years before retiring.  He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and attended Zion United Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife Virginia, Howard is survived by his children; Cynthia A. Wells, of Rochester, NY, Pamela E. Warren, of Rochester, NY, William J. Wells, of Rochester, NY, and Suzanne M. Martin, wife of Carl, of Washington, his step children, Cynthia A. Barrett, of Texas and Scott C. Groth, of Ephrata, his 7 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
