Helen O. Ubil, 99, formerly of Reading, passed away October 4, 2011 at 1:40 PM in Laurel Center in Tilden Twp., where she resided for 4 years. She was the wife of James B. Ubil who passed away December 28, 2006. Born in Trenton, NJ on November 10, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Chester J. and Elsie (Price) Warfel. Helen was employed as a sales clerk by the former ImberA�a�a��s Dept. Store for 32 years retiring in 1960. She was loved by all who knew her and was a kind and humorous person who helped everyone she knew. Helen was the loving mother to Joan A. (Ubil) wife of Glenn S. Yoder of Laureldale, the loving grandmother to Lyndel (Yoder) Balthaser of Sinking Spring, the loving great grandmother to Ryan Balthaser of Alexandria, VA and Kyle Balthaser of Tempe, AZ. Helen is also survived by three sisters Catherine (Warfel) widow of James Kerman of Tilden Twp., Marie (Warfel) widow of Joseph Braun of Temple and Dorothy (Warfel) widow of William Vogel of Borne, TX. She was predeceased by a brother Wilbur Warfel and two sisters Margaret (Warfel) Reichardt and Eleanor (Warfel) Impink. Graveside Services will be Monday at 2:00 PM in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
