Harrison Fromm, Sr

Harrison John Fromm Sr., 73, Birdsboro, died Nov. 15, 2007, at 3:20 a.m. in ManorCare Health Services, Pottstown, where he had resided two months. Born June 29, 1934, in Reading, he was a son of the late John Fromm and Sara (Delp) Fromm.
He was a weaver for Mutual Industries in Pennsburg for eight years. Prior to that, he was a truck driver for Jesse Baro in Stowe for more than 20 years.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are two sons, Harrison John Fromm Jr., Phoenixville, and Andrew G., husband of Donna M. Fromm, Birdsboro; three daughters: Rose N. Fromm, with whom he resided; Janet A. Fromm, Hereford; and Tammy M. (Fromm), wife of Scott Zimmerman, Alburtis; and a stepson, Gene A., husband of Claire Wharton, Hereford.
Other survivors include six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 N. Ninth St., Reading, with Chaplain Audrey Hay officiating. Burial will be in Birdsboro Cemetery. Friends will be received 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
