Gertrude Faust

Gertrude L. Faust, 83, of Leanne Street, Muhlenberg Township, died Dec. 9 in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient four days.

Her husband, Melvin A. Faust, died in September 1957.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Henry W. Stankiewicz Jr. and Sofia (Dombrowska) Stankiewicz.

Faust was employed for 15 years as a packer by W.R. Grace Inc., Tuckerton, retiring in 1986.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

Surviving is a daughter, Joanne M. (Faust) Sustello, Muhlenberg Township, with whom she resided.

Other survivors include two sisters, Laura (Stankiewicz) Premici, West Lawn, and Irene (Stankiewicz) DuBoce, Mesa, Ariz.; and a brother, Frank Stankiewicz, Exeter Township.

There are also two granddaughters.

Holy Guardian Angels Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. Rev. Dennis T. Hartgen celebrant. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. The Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
