George F. Ruppert Jr. George F. Ruppert Jr., 83, of Shillington, passed away March 10, 2008 at 11:12 AM in Reading Hospital & Medical Center where he was a patient several hours. He was the husband of Naomi K. (Schultz) Ruppert. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late George F. Ruppert Sr. and the late Margaret Jane (Hopkins) Ruppert Murphy. He was an Army veteran of WW2. He was the owner of US Guage Tavern and later Sellville Lounge until he retired in 1979. Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 step daughters, Jean A. (Schnure) wife of Bruce E. Englehart of Shillington and Linda K. (Schnure) wife of Robert Rhoads of North Wales a step grandson N. Carl Frei of Hereford.
