George Keehn

George H. Keehn, 74, of Reading, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at the Wyomissing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late John Keehn and Dora (Leisey) Keehn. He was the widower of Eleanor E. (Blankenbiller) Keehn, who passed away on August 20, 2009.
He was a 1953 graduate of Ephrata High School, and worked in maintenance for Vanity Fair for eleven years, retiring in 1982. He previously worked for twenty years as a manager for the PA Liquor Store.
He was also a United States Veteran. He is survived by his son: Glenn Keehn, husband of Shelly Keehn of Robesonia; and a daughter: Sheila B. Keehn of Reading. There are also two granddaughters: Megan and Kiersten. He is also survived by his sister: Lillie Wolford of Laureldale. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
