George E. Green, 68, of Reading, passed away June 12, 2016 in The Reading Hospital.
He was the husband of Mary Ann (Nichlas) Green.
Born in Elgin, SC, he was the son of the late Abram and Mattie Green.
Mr. Green was employed by JH Green Trash Removal for many years.
Surviving in addition to his wife Mary Ann are his children Linda McDaniel, Columbia , SC; George A. Green, Jr., Reading; Dana L. Green, Reading; Javonna Davis, Virginia; Michelle Dotson, Reading; Teddy Dotson, Reading; Euanton Dotson, Reading; Abram Dotson, Reading and Lellis Dotson, Reading; 20 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Other survivors include his brothers Major Green, Arthur Green, John Green, Henry Green and Benny Green. He was preceded in death by siblings Minnie Samuel, Mildred Moore, Lena Mae Dixon, Lucy Mae Thomas, Mary Gaultt, Tillman Green and Theodore Green.
Funeral Services will be held in Church of Deliverance, 1325 North 10th Street, Reading, Friday, June 17, 2016 at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive relatives and friends 10:00-12:00pm.
