Frank "Doc" Franco, 93, of West Douglas Street, died Nov. 8 at 11:12 a.m. in his residence.
He was the husband of Edith L. (Campbell) Franco.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Thomas and Concetta (Ornato) Franco.
He had been employed as a steward at the Junior Fire Company Home Association for 60 years, retiring in 1984.
He was a past president of the Junior Fire Company and was a life member of Reading Elks Lodge 115.
Other survivors include two brothers, Angelo, Temple, and Samuel, Mount Penn, and one sister, Lena (Franco) Malpede, Wyomissing.
Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
