Francisca Rivera, 70, died of natural causes June 26 at 12:45 p.m. in her residence in Reading.
She was the wife of Victor Osorio.
Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Juan and Cecilia (Montanez) Rivera.
Rivera was employed for 30 years as a machine operator by Consolidated Cigars, Puerto Rico.
She was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Reading, where she was a director of the Legion of Mary.
Rivera is also survived by two daughters, Carmen (Gonzalez) Taveres and Provi Gonzalez, both of Reading; and six sons: Jose Gonzalez, Caguas; Jose Fonseca and Jesus E., Gerardo and Ramon Osorio, all of Reading; and Alfonso Osorio, Kenhorst.
Other survivors include three brothers: Cando, Wenserlau and Wicho Rivera, all of Puerto Rico.
Also surviving are four sisters: Juana, Furhenshia, Carmen and Une Rivera, all of Puerto Rico.
There are also 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter's Church. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
