Francis P. Schlageter, 61, of Las Vegas Drive, Temple, died of natural causes Dec. 21 at 3:40 a.m. in his residence.
He was the husband of Mildred M. (Fullmer) Schlageter.
Born in Reading, he was a son of Arlene (Jennings) Schlageter, Reading, and the late Francis Schlageter.
Schlageter had been employed for 33 years as a laborer by Exide Corp., Muhlenberg Township, retiring earlier this year.
He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Reading.
Schlageter was a 1962 graduate of Reading High School.
He is also survived by a sister, Marilyn Schlageter, Reading; and two brothers, Robert, Fleetwood, and James, Reading.
Memorial services will be Friday at noon in St. Luke's Church. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
