Florence Wentzel

Florence A. (Moyer) Wentzel, 74, Reading, died May 4, 2007, at 7:10 a.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center, where she had been for three weeks. She was the widow of Roy J. Wentzel, who passed away in 1983.
Born in Reading on Nov. 23, 1932, she was a daughter of the late John Elmer Moyer and Esther May (Hollenbach) Moyer.
She was a graduate of Reading High School.
She worked as a sewing machine operator for Jay EL Corp. of Fleetwood for 25 years, retiring in 1984.
Surviving is a son, Dale T., husband of Davilyn M. (Rhoads) Wentzel, Reading.
Other survivors include several brothers and sisters.
There also are three grandchildren.
Services will be private.
Whelan-Schwartz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
