Fern Hoffmaster

Fern S. Hoffmaster, 85, Reading, died Nov. 27 at 10 a.m. in the Trans Level Care Center of St. Joseph Medical Center. Her husband, Richard L. Hoffmaster Sr., died June 25, 1996.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Arthur B. and Ada M. (Adams) MacLatchie.
Hoffmaster was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Reading.
She is survived by a daughter, Suzanne F. Hoffmaster, with whom she last resided, and two sons, Richard L. Jr., Reading, and Ronald D., Chambersburg, Franklin County.
There are also four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, PA 19601.
