Fern E. Frank, 89, Reading, died at 12:55 p.m. Dec. 25 in St. Joseph Medical Center, where she had been a patient for six days.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Benton B. and Bessie E. (Gehret) Ritz.
Her husband, Roy G. Frank, died April 20, 2005.
She was employed for 20 years as a technician by the former Western Electric, Muhlenberg Township, retiring in 1980.
She was a member of St. Thomas United Church of Christ.
Surviving is a daughter, Isabelle (LeVan) Hoffman, Reading.
Other survivors include a brother, Sherwood Ritz, Leesport; and two sisters, Blanche (Ritz) Blair, Shoemakersville; and May (Ritz) Light, Reading.
There are four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Olin J. Wait, in 1972.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Whelan Schwartz F. H. Inc. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
