Ethel E. Smith, 82, of Reading, passed away on Saturday, January 3rd at St. Joseph's Medical Center.
Born in Harrison, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. Ely and Eva (Trump) Ely, and wife of the late Raymond Smith, who passed away in 2004.
She last worked in the deli department of Giant Foods retiring in 1997.
She is survived by her son: Furman Wescott, husband of Ethel, of Bradford, RI.
There are also two granddaughters: Christine and Sheila, and three great grandchildren: Maxwell, Sophia, and Leila.
She is also survived by her two sisters: Thelma Mahr of Leonardo, NJ and Irene Madden of West Caldwell, NJ.
Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Reading, are in charge of arrangements.
