Emma Davila, 71, of Reading, passed away Sunday, June 28th at 5:00 a.m. in the Emergency Room of St. Joseph's Medical Center.
Born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Miguel Davila and Juana Colon.
She was the wife of Francisco Medina at home.
She worked as a sewing machine operator.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Elena Alameda of Reading, Mercedes Villafane of Reading, and Eliseo Villafane of Ocean Side, CA.
There are also seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one step granddaughter, and one step great grandson.
She is also survived by her siblings: Manuel Davila of Philadelphia, Angel Luis Davila of Puerto Rico, Teresa Davila of Bridgeport, CT, and Jenny Salisbury of Reading, CA.
In addition to her parents, she was pre deceased by two step granddaughters, and a brother: David.
Services from the Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 N. 9th St. Reading, Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Pottstown Cemetery. Friends received Thursday from 10 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
