Emily K. Benne, 81, formerly of Mulberry Street, died March 15 at 9:45 a.m. in Cedar Haven, Lebanon, where she had resided since 2000.
Her husband, Stephen Benne, died April 7, 1969.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Emily E. (Woodworth) Vogel.
Benne was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
Surviving are two daughters, Emily M. (Benne) Maras, Leesport, and Kathleen M. (Benne) Straka, West Lawn.
Other survivors include a sister, Elizabeth M. (Vogel) Hart, South Temple; and two grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated March 23 at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
