Ella E. Bill, 61, of Proudfoot Drive, Robeson Township, died of natural causes Dec. 12 at 1:12 p.m. in Zerbe Sisters Nursing Home, Caernarvon Township, Lancaster County, where she had been a patient since Dec. 8.
Her husband, Fredrick L. Bill Sr., died June 15, 1995.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late James McIlhenny.
Bill had been employed for 12 years as a cook by Suburban Tavern, Mount Penn, retiring in 2000.
She is also survived by a daughter, Jennifer D. (Bill) Ranck, Birdsboro; and three sons: Fredrick L. Jr., Frackville, Schuylkill County; Scott M., Reading; and Jason P., Temple.
Other survivors include a brother, Henry McIlhenny, Philadelphia, and her stepmother, Eleanor McIlhenny, Wyomissing.
There are also six grandchildren.
Services will be private. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
