Eleanor M. (Lipka) George, 81, formerly of Reading, died Sept. 27 at 9:15 p.m. in Berks Heim Annex, where she had resided since Oct. 1, 2003.

Surviving is a son, Jesse E. Jr., Temple.

Services will be private. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
