Edward Mcbrairty

Edward J. McBrairty, 78, of Souderton, Montgomery County, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 in Southeastern Veterans Hospital. He was the husband of Gloria L. (Fiorentino) McBrairty. Born in Hazleton, PA he was the son of the late John Joseph McBrairty and Hazel (Everly) McBrairty. Mr. McBrairty served in the United States Army and was an engineer at Clinical Analysis Corp. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Linda L. Andrade, wife of Michael Andrade of Spokane, Washington and Brian E. McBrairty, fiancAC. of Stephanie Rudderow of Reading. Mr. McBrairty is also survived by his grandchildren Ryan, Shaylynn, Christian, Joshua, Kaley, Briana and Jesse and his great grandson Dean. Also surviving are his siblings Charles McBrairty of Easton; John McBrairty of West Chester and Mary Ann Spieth of Statesboro, Georgia.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church Chapel 2427 Perkiomen Ave. Mount Penn, Monday, May 15, 2017 at 10:00 am. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive relatives and friends in Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church Chapel from 9:00-9:45 am. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 North 9th Street, Reading is in charge of arrangements.
