Edith Franco

Edith L. Franco, 96, of Reading, passed away on March 31, 2013 at Berks Heim. She was predeceased by her husband Frank (Doc) Franco on November 8, 2002 after 70 years of marriage. Edith was born in Reading on May 4, 1916 and was the daughter of the late John and Ellen (Steiner) Campbell. She was employed at Alexander Hat Factory in West Reading and Boscov's North, working in the cosmetic department. Over the years, Edith owned many dogs and cats which she provided love and affection. Edith is survived by several nieces and nephews. Edith was predeceased by Brothers Elmer and James Campbell, and sisters Florence, Emma, and Mary. Services will be private.
