Dr. John A�a�A"SteveA�a�A� Cole Jr., 75, Fleetwood, formerly of Quakertown, Bucks County, and Nazareth, Northampton County, died Jan. 20 at 12:45 a.m. in Wyomissing Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Reading, where he had been a patient since Jan. 18.
He was the husband of Caroline B. (Bruch) Cole.
Born in Easton, Northampton County, he was a son of the late John S. Cole Sr. and Gertrude (Miller) Cole.
Cole had been employed for more than 21 years as a technician by the Miller-Keystone Blood Center, Bethlehem and Reading, last working in September.
Previously a self-employed physician, Cole operated an obstetrics-gynecology practice in Quakertown, a family practice in Nazareth and was co-operator of a practice in Massillon, Ohio.
He was a graduate of Easton High School, received his degree in medicine from Lafayette College, and his degree in obstetrics and gynecology from Temple Medical School.
Cole was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Fleetwood.
He was a Navy veteran.
Also surviving are two sons, John S. III and Frederick A., both of Fleetwood; and two daughters, Amy E. (Cole) Schurr, Birdsboro, and Ruth Ann Cole, Wyomissing.
