Dorothy Ravel

Dorothy May Ravel, 87, of Reading, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 11:54 am in her home. She was the wife of the late George E. Ravel, Sr. who passed away in 1987. Born in Cedar Top, Berks County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Gertie (Dietrich) Fritz. She was a Candy Maker at Luden's in Reading for 47 years. Mrs. Ravel is survived by her children George E. Ravel, Jr., husband of Patricia L. Ravel of Reading and Mary A. Hertzog with whom she last resided. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jennifer R. Hirsch and Todd F. Ravel and her great granddaughter Sierra B. Hirsch.
