David E. Krick, 79, formerly of Perry Township, a resident of the Laurel Center, Tilden Township, since November 2006, died Jan. 15, 2007, at 8:02 p.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, where he had been a patient for three days. He was the husband of Betty G. (Hoster) Krick, also a resident of the Laurel Center.
Born Aug. 7, 1927, in Wyomissing, he was a son of the late Ralph D. Krick and Bertha M. (Baer) Krick.
Krick maintained the bottling line at Pepsi Co. of Reading, and was employed as a laborer by the former Garden State Tannery, Fleetwood. He was last employed in the dairy department by Weis Markets, Reading, retiring in 1999.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is also survived by two daughters, Linda E. (Krick), wife of Dean A. Grim, Perry Township, and Cheryl A. Krick, Perry Township; and a son, Raymond D., husband of Michele D. (Heffner) Krick, Exeter Township.
Other survivors include a sister, Barbara (Krick) McDonough, Shillington; and two brothers, Kenneth Krick, West Lawn, and Robert Krick, Shillington.
There are also three grandchildren: Angela M. (Grim) Wolf, Tamara (Krick) Horn and Jennifer (Krick) Bolich.
Memorial services will be Saturday at 6 p.m. in the Mount Penn Congregation of JehovahA�a�a��s Witnesses, 4880 Oak Parkway, Reading, PA 19606, Carl Strause officiating. Burial will be private in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
