David T. Folk Jr., 74, of Muhlenberg Twp, passed away February 4, 2008 at 2:30 PM in his residence. He was the husband of Janice P. (Battle) Folk.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late David T. Folk Sr. and the late Anna May (Rhoads) Folk.
He was a 1950 graduate of Reading Catholic High School.
He was employed for 42 years as a lab technician at NGK Metals in Temple until his retirement in 1992.
He was a 3rd degree member Knights of Columbus Council # 793.
Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 daughters, Kathleen A. (Folk) Bickhart of Wyomissing and Margaret M. (Folk) Tolbert of Saline, Michigan and 5 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 AM in Holy Guardian Angels RCC by Msgr. Dennis T. Hartgen. Entombment in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends will be received Saturday 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Guardian Angels RCC, 3121 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605.Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
