Dale Stevenson

Dale T. Stevenson, 59, Mount Penn, died Aug. 6 at 2:30 p.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Thomas and Alma (Klein) Stevenson.
Stevenson was employed for 15 years as a line operator by Hofmann Industries, Sinking Spring, retiring in 2001.
He was a graduate of Reading High School.
Stevenson was an Army veteran.
He was a member of the New Apostolic Church, Reading.
Surviving are two sons, Eric W. and Matthew P., both of West Reading; and a daughter, Heidi S. (Stevenson) Hunt, Bristol, N.Y.
Other survivors include a brother, David Stevenson, Mount Penn.
There are also two grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 8 p.m. in the New Apostolic Church, Chapel Terrace and Cotton Street, Reading. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the church from 7 to 8 p.m. Floral tributes would be appreciated or contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 6110 Executive Blvd., Rockville, MD, 20852, in memory of Mr. Dale T. Stevenson. Whelan-Schwartz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
