Clarence Leroy King, Sr., 81, of Mount Penn, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 7:30 pm in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of the late Sally H. (Hammer) King who passed away June 26, 2012. Born in Carlisle, PA, Mr. King was the son of the late Guy A. and Helen (Morrison) King. He served in the United States Navy and retired as manager of Stokesay Castle and as school bus driver for Klein Bus. Mr. King is survived by his children; Clarence L. King, Jr. husband of Dawn M. King, loving daughter (in-law) of Muhlenberg Park; Sharon L. Madures, wife of David Madures of Snow Hill, NC; Melissa Ann King, wife of Jerry Stephenson of Orwigsburg along with 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his cats and best buddies Smokey and Snowball. He was preceded in death by his daughters Deborah L. King and Karen M. King. The family of Mr. King would like to extend their sincere gratitude to his wonderful and special friends, Jim and Tracey Duty and the staff and members of Senior Life Group in Exeter Township. You made his life better each day with your kindness and smiles.
Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
