Charles Ulmer

Charles W. Ulmer, 86, Reading, died Sept. 30 at 9 p.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center.
His wife, Mary V. (Evans) Ulmer, died Sept. 18, 2003.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late William and Anna L. (Richards) Ulmer.
Ulmer had been employed for 20 years as a candy maker by Luden's Inc., Reading, retiring in 1981. He was later a caretaker at Aulenbach's Cemetery, Mount Penn.
He was a member of First Evangelical Congregational Church, Reading.
Ulmer is survived by a sister, Edna (Ulmer) Neider, Reading.
Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 25 Stevens Ave., West Lawn, PA 19609.
