Charles I. Stricker, 86, Reading, died April 28 at 11:33 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient for 12 days.
He was the husband of Laura A. (Gehr) Stricker.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Henry R. and Kathryn M. (Martin) Stricker.
Stricker had been employed for 27 years by Lebanon Tool Co., retiring as supervisor in 1984.
He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Reading.
Stricker was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is also survived by a son, the Rev. Donald C., Palmerton, Carbon County, and a daughter, Dawn M. (Stricker) Weidner, Muhlenberg Township.
Other survivors include a sister, Emma (Stricker) Faller, Fleetwood; and two brothers, Henry R. and Donald G., both of Reading.
There are also four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in St. Luke's Church. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
