Charles Seiger

Charles I. Seiger, 85, formerly of Shoemakersville, died Aug. 27 at 8:10 a.m. in his residence on Perkiomen Avenue, Mount Penn.
He was the husband of Nancy (Stump) Seiger.
Born in Shoemakersville, he was a son of the late Clarence and Bertha (Stitzel) Seiger.
Seiger was employed for many years as a textile processor, last working in the Reading area until his retirement.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Seiger is also survived by a brother, Robert, Shoemakersville.
Services and burial will be private. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
