Charles W. Brown, 82, of Pine Street, died May 18 at 5:15 a.m. in ManorCare Health Services Inc., West Reading, where he had been a patient since March.
He had been predeceased by his wife, Violet M. (Hause) Brown.
Born in Sunbury, Northumberland County, he was a son of the late Erwin J. Sr. and Angelina A. (Rose) Brown.
Brown had been employed for 37 years as a machine operator by Interstate Container Corp., Reading, retiring in 1980. He had previously worked at Luden's Inc., Reading.
He was an Army veteran.
Brown is survived by a brother, Kenneth L., Reading, and a sister, Annamae (Brown) Fulmer, Wagner, S.C.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton.
