Catherine Coyle

Catherine C. Coyle, 80, Reading, passed away April 15, 2007, at 11:02 a.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, where she was a patient since April 9. She was the wife of John W. Coyle.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Cecelia (Shepatowski) Zielinski.
She was employed for 52 years as a Merrow hemmer by several local garments manufacturers.
She was chairwoman of Local 93, International Garment Workers of America.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Thomas M. Coyle, Virginia Beach, Va., and Timothy A. Coyle, Cumru Township; and a daughter, Sharon D. (Coyle), wife of David Gudekunst, Fort Pierce, Fla.
Other survivors include a sister, Sylvia (Zielinski), wife of Theodore Zogas, Reading.
Memorial services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Bean Funeral Homes, N. 16th and Rockland streets, Hampden Heights. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens. Friends will be received Friday 10 to 11 a.m. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
