Carmen L. Ortega, 51, Reading, died of natural causes Dec. 10 at 11:30 a.m. in Reading Hospital.
Her husband, Angel Ortega, died in 1989.
Born in Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Sixto and Tomasa Colon.
Surviving are a daughter, Wanda Ortega; and five sons: David, Angel, Neudy, Neftatla and Jason Ortega, all of Reading.
Other survivors include three sisters: Anadelia Ortiz and Aida Luiz Ortiz, both in Connecticut; and Maria Ortiz, in Puerto Rico.
Also surviving are four brothers: Efrain Ortega and Miguel A. Ortega, both of Reading; Luis A. Ortiz, in Puerto Rico; and Juan Ortiz, in Connecticut.
There are also 20 grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.
