Carmen Castro

Carmen Castro, 75, of Reading, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the Reading Hospital. Born on April 12, 1949, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late Carmelo Castro and Iris Cortes.

Carmen was known as a very friendly and loving person. She loved elephants, flowers, and enjoyed cooking with her family. Overall loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son Arsenio Cortez. Carmen is survived by her daughters, Carmen Cortes, wife of Marcos, of Reading; Erika Cortez, of Reading; and 6 grandchildren.
