C. Ruby DeMaio, 95, Pinellas Park, Fla., formerly of Reading, died Oct. 26 at 11:28 p.m. in Northside Hospital & Heart Institute, St. Petersburg, Fla.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Howard N. and Carrie M. (Kolb) Schaeffer.
DeMaio had been employed for 15 years as a threader by Narrow Fabric Co., West Reading, retiring in 1973. She was also employed at the Hamburg Center.
She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Reading.
DeMaio is survived by four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Robert H., on Jan. 26, 1991.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
