Bruce S. Marburger, 86, Wernersville, died Aug. 3 at 8:07 a.m. in Beverly Healthcare Reading, Exeter Township, where he had been a patient since June 7.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late George and Helen (Rupp) Marburger.
Marburger had been employed most of his life as a truck driver, working for Bergmeyer Bros. Trucking, Tuckerton, and NA Corp., Reading, retiring in 1992.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Marburger is survived by two daughters, Patricia A. (Marburger) Krouse, Reading, and Sandra L. (Marburger) Eberhart, Leesport; and two sons, Clarence H., Exeter Township, and Bruce A., Muhlenberg Township.
Other survivors include a sister, Mary (Marburger) Martin, Laureldale.
There are also nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
