Betty Roth

Betty I. Roth, 81, formerly of Womelsdorf, passed away January 30, 2010 at 7:21 am in Berkshire Center a resident for 2 years. She was the wife of the late Charles N. Roth, Jr. who passed away June 8, 1996. Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary(Davis) Foreman. She was employed as a nurses aide for St. Joseph Medical Center for 32 years, retiring in 1988. She is survived by her daughters Kelly A. wife of Wayne C. Mohr, Sr. of Womelsdorf and Nancy J. wife of Charles P. Barber of Reading along with her grandchildren Wayne C. Mohr, Jr. fiance of Tabitha L. Kofroth, Crystal L. Barber, Jason P. husband of Shannon Barber, Charmane F. Mohr and her great grandchildren Lauren Nicole Barber and Austin R. Kofroth. She is also survived by her sisters Helen wife of Gary Glovenski of Green Hills and Evelyn widow of John F. Hyneman III of Reading. Services from Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 North 9th Street, Reading, Thursday at 11:00 am. Rev. Bruce G. Osterhout officiating. Interment Berks County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday 10-11:00 am. Contributions may be made to Caring Hospice Service, 400 Commerce Drive, Fort Washington, PA 19034-2617 in memory of Mrs. Betty I. Roth.
