Barbara J. Smith, 56, Reading, died of natural causes Oct. 5 at 12:52 a.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of John R. and Ernestine M. (Lane) McNamara, Reading.
Smith was employed for 10 years as a machine operator by Interstate Container Corp., Reading.
She is also survived by a daughter, Valerie H. Ziegler, Reading; and three sons: Charles F. Eberenz IV, Shillington; and George R. and Patrick J. Ziegler, both of Reading.
Other survivors include a brother, Patrick J. Callahan, Reading; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
