Arthur Forrest Dornblaser, 94, died on October 1, 2015 at Phoebe Berks
Village. Born in Nazareth, PA to Forrest Dornblaser and Laura (Heil)
Dornblaser Johnson. He was married to the late Helen Snyder Dornblaser
tor 73 years.
Arthur was a Superintendent in the forging department at Carpenter
Technology for 33 years, and then worked for the Sovereign Bank. He was
a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, Mt.Penn.
Arthur was proud that he taught himself about investing successfully in the
stock market. Both he and Helen enjoyed horse racing and they were part
-owner of several horses. He followed the news extensively and enjoyed
discussing it with others. He got the most satisfaction from having been
raised by a tenant farmer and then through dedicated hard work having had
a successful career that enabled him to provide for his family.
Surviving are two daughters: Julia, wife of Michael Ouellette, Berwick ME;
Sylvia, wife of Roger Baker, Malvern PA; eight grandchildren; and eleven
great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters: Naomi
Dornblaser Snyder and Viola Dornblaser Adams, and a brother Paul.
A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family.
