Anthony G. Denatala Sr., 82, Laureldale, died Feb. 26 at 5:55 p.m. in Spruce Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, West Reading, where he had resided since October.
He was the husband of Nancy Y. (Schramm) Denatala.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Theodore and Camillo (Pillera) Denatala.
Denatala was employed for 241/2 years as a laborer by Interstate Container Corp., Reading, retiring in 1984.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Denatala is also survived by a son, Anthony G. Jr., Shoemakersville; and a daughter, Kathleen D. (Denatala) Burggraf, Muhlenberg Township.
Other survivors include three sisters: Fannie (Denatala) Toth and Mary (Denatala) Dillon, both of Shillington; and Bessie (Denatala) Ruth, Wernersville.
There are also six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Diane Y. Denatala, in 1958.
Services will be private. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
