Annamae Strunk

Annamae (Shifflett) Strunk, 87, passed away from natural causes on Friday, January 19, 2018 in her home, with her beloved family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Martin R. Strunk Sr. who passed away on October 7th, 1972. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Edward O'dell and Helen A. Shifflett. Annamae worked a total of 47 years, 26 years at the Berkshire Kitting Mill, 5 years at Vanity Fair, and 16 years at David Crystal. Annamae retired 23 years ago. She is survived by her two children, Martin Strunk Jr., husband of Debra Strunk; and daughter Darlene Strunk, and her boyfriend Richard Herber Jr. Annamae is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Rochelle L., wife of, Vincent Demming; Martin III, husband of, Amy Strunk; Martin IV, husband of, Aaryn Strunk, Charles A. Jr., husband of, Jennifer Wyatt; and her youngest granddaughter Patricia M. Wyatt; and 15 great-grandchildren. Annamae was predeceased by her brother Edward S. Shifflett, husband of the late Loretta Shifflett and many nieces and nephews.
