Anna M. Volmer, 87, Reading, died July 19 at 5:50 a.m. in ManorCare Health Services, West Reading, where she had resided since Sept. 2, 2004. Born in Mount Holly, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Frances K. Volmer-Phillips and stepdaughter of the late Rex J. Phillips.
Volmer was employed for 22 years as a nurseA�a�a��s aide by Berks Heim until her retirement.
Volmer, who resided with Jose G. Bermudez for 56 years, has no immediate survivors.
Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc., 444 N. Ninth St., Minister Leonel Contreras officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
