Anna Koppenberg

Anna M. (Hipp) Koppenberg, 91, Reading, died July 13, 2007, at 4:45 p.m. in St. JosephA�a�a��s Medical Center, where she was a patient for five days. She was the wife of Leo A. Koppenberg, who passed away Jan. 13, 1993.

Born in Reading on Sept. 9, 1915, she was a daughter of the late George F. and Amelia B. (Zimmerman) Hipp.

Anna worked in the finishing department of the former Rosedale Knitting Mills for seven years.

She was a member of St. PaulA�a�a��s Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Surviving are three nephews and six nieces.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. PaulA�a�a��s Roman Catholic Church, 151 N. Ninth St., Reading, with the Rev. Andrew A. Ulincy celebrant. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends will be received Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 N. Ninth St., Reading.
