Amado Ruiz

Amado Ruiz, 69, of Reading, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the Reading Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Elsa I. (Roman) Ruiz. Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Amado and Monserrate (Traval) Ruiz. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Juan C. Ruiz, partner of Jennifer Ortiz of Reading; Ricardo Ruiz, husband of, Carmen Ruiz of Spring Township; William D. Ruiz, husband of, Leslie Ruiz of Florida. Mr. Ruiz is also survived by his grandchildren Juan C. Ruiz, Jr.; Jordan A. Ruiz; Jocelyn Ruiz; Nicholas R. Ruiz; Tianna Lovera; Cristian W. Ruiz; along with 1 great grandchildren , Hayden J. Ruiz. Mr. Ruiz is also survived by 13 siblings.
Funeral Service will be held in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 North 9th Street, Reading, Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 10:00AM. Reverend David J. Kozak will officiate.
