Alice Bright

Alice C. Bright, 85, formerly of Reading, passed away July 15, 2008 at 7:50 pm in ManorCare-Muhlenberg Township, a resident since January 7, 2000. She was the widow of Richard Dierolf and John Bright. Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Jennie I. (Rhein) Whalen. Mrs. Bright was employed as a laborer for Luden's in Reading for 3 years, then as an inspector/technician for Lucent Technology in Reading from 1942-1986. She was a member of St. Joseph RCC, Reading. Mrs. Bright is survived by a daughter Marsha A. (Bright) Mercier of Sylvania, Ohio, 3 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Dennis Dierolf in 1987 and a daughter Alice C. Bright in 1958.
